Got Mik?

Sad to say, but two of the bigger names in Singapore fashion are taking a break. Okay, we will still have the Swirl Girls because they're just closing their Stamford House retail shop but still retaining their online blog. So no tears. Although I am not exactly a fan of their clothes but I simply adore their store design, vintage furnitures and marketing posters/pictures. Just feel like brewing a whole new kettle of nice English tea, grab one of the comfy vintage sofa and slack my day away...

Swirl is currently having their clearance sale but I heard from Gracey that most good stuff are gone. Those who still have no idea, go visit them soon! Skip lunch or sneak out for some afternoon tea, whatever excuse you can think of. 

Here are some treasures that I simply wish I could get my hands on. 

Sewing machine and vintage together? Come on, get out of here! It's so cute. Though it's not functioning but it'll look just as good sitting right below that window at home.

Haha this is the chair that I will stick my ass on while sipping my Darjeeling.

Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them of?

Haha, of course I'm not gonna ask myself that. But seriously, every girl should have a mirror this big. Or I should change to MUST have. How else are we going to have a good look at all our new buys. We shop for a reason ya? To know we look good.

Putting quirky furnitures aside, fabrics are what I intended to buy. I wanna try sewing some pieces myself. Hahaha why not? Maybe I'm good at it? You guys shall see...

If I'm not wrong, Baylene is closing because she wants to focus on her family. Very sad to lose her in the fashion scene, but I think it's a very worthwhile sacrifice.
